Made of Stars

There are lots of stars in the universe. When they explode, it’s a supernova. When a star uses up all its fuel, it caves in and it reacts with the iron core. That makes a shock wave and the star explodes. The gasses and dust from the explosion make a nebula. Nebulae are where new stars and even planets are formed. Our solar system was formed in a nebula a long time ago. So we are made of stars, and that’s something to think about.

William, I was wondering if you knew we were made of stars! Such a lovely thing to think about. Do you like to read about astronomy?

William- that is an amazing thought. I have always known the moon and sun affect our emotions and actions, but I never considered myself to be part of the stars themselves! A very thought provoking post.
